The game is played by raising the spiral and supporting it by the pole. Any number of persons can take part in this jolly game and each one lets the ball run down once to ascertain the order of starting. Every player has three shots each turn. If the ball drops in one of the holes the number of the hole is scored. The player who first reaches a number previously agreed upon (200 for example) wins the game.
The game may also be played by placing all of the balls on the top of the spiral at the same time.
